Upon her mother's death, Elsie learns that she has been left with a mission. The young woman must find her mother's five ex-husbands and, with each of them, locate a suitable place to scatter some of her ashes. Approaching thirty, she must therefore reconnect with her former stepfathers and her biological father under unexpected circumstances. This journey, fraught with obstacles, will help her confront some of her inner demons and embark, headfirst and with greater peace of mind, on a new chapter of her life.
