Marc Côté, a street chaplain and priest for over 25 years, inherits a large estate in the Lower St. Lawrence region. He decides to bring the homeless people who live in his church there for the summer so they can enjoy a restorative vacation away from the city. Thus, with his faithful companion Sister Monique, he embarks on an extraordinary adventure that will transform the daily lives of the residents of the small town of Sainte-Luce. Many will not welcome these people who are different with open arms, judging them immediately by their appearance and lifestyle.
