The Calgary Regional ACFA<\/strong>\u00a0is proud to announce the holding of the second edition of the\u00a0Francophone Winter Festival<\/strong>\u00a0which will take place\u00a0March 2nd and 3rd, 2024 at Cit\u00e9 des Rocheuses and at Sainte Marguerite-Bourgeoys School, 4800 Richard Road SW, Calgary<\/strong>, an event open to the general public.<\/p>\n

The festivities will highlight family values and will feature folk musical performances celebrating Quebec, Franco-Albertan, African, and Indigenous traditions. A mini "Gala" will introduce us to emerging young artists from French-language and immersion schools.<\/p>\n

The festival offers a variety of activities for families, youth, and children. In addition, an exhibitors' market will allow visitors to discover Francophone entrepreneurs and artisans from the region.<\/p>\n

Maple taffy on snow will be featured, along with other surprise activities that will unveil the traditions of various French-speaking countries around the world.<\/p>\n
