FCFC23 : Système K
Système K is a French film directed by Renaud Barret and released in 2020. This documentary consists of testimonies on the precarious conditions of the artistic condition and life in general in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The film gives the floor to visual artists and performers from Kinshasa, testifying to the conditions of creativity in a precarious environment and their attachment to freedom of expression. Through the use of recycled materials or provocative performances, the artists express their indignation at the dilapidated state of the city and the chaotic situation of the country. They also highlight the art of local resourcefulness and inventiveness, as well as the anchoring of these artistic practices in the daily lives of the inhabitants. Freddy Tsimba, known internationally, for example, set up a machete house on a small square in the district of Matonge, which arouses the curiosity of onlookers for this box composed of an object both tragic and familiar. In the words of the latter, these new artists "recover and recycle waste from a consumption to which they do not have access"
