As part of the 12th edition of the RVF comedy tour, laughter will be on the agenda from January 23 to March 29, 2025 in several Canadian cities.
Garihanna Jean-Louis:
A comedian for over twenty years, Garihanna became the first Black female comedian to graduate from the National School of Humor in 2017. With boundless energy and a unique blend of humor and a mango-maple flavor, this binational performer, who has appeared at several major festivals, shares her exotic and vibrant world in three different languages. She has received numerous awards and accolades since her beginnings in the world of comedy. She was named Artist of the Year at ZOOFEST in 2022, a Gémeaux Award in 2021, Comedian of the Year in 2019, and Discovery of the Year at the International Comedy Festival in 2017 and 2018, to name just a few. She often says that humor is cultural, but laughter is universal. What better communicator and contagious than laughter to stay positive, inclusive and open to the world.
Ryan Doucette:
Ryan Doucette is an Acadian actor, comedian, and screenwriter from La Baie Sainte Marie, Nova Scotia. Winner of the prestigious Grand-Pré Award in 2020, presented by the Creative Nova Scotia Awards, he is best known for his work as host and writer of the popular Unis TV show "Le sens du punch" (The Meaning of the Punch). On stage, Doucette is an accomplished comedian who has performed in cities such as Los Angeles, Toronto, Montreal, Edmonton, and Halifax, among others. He has participated in several renowned festivals, including the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, the Festival RIEN in Caraquet, Minifest in Montreal, and the Hubcap Comedy Festival in Moncton. Most recently, he successfully concluded the tour of his one-man show "Punch moi" (Punch Me) as part of ROSEQ 2022, solidifying his place in the French-Canadian comedy scene.
Jérémie Larouche:
Graduate and now professor at the’'National School of Humor', Jérémie knows how to draw you into his fantastical and romantic world with his unique storytelling style. Nominated for Author of the Year at the 2015 Olivier Awards, he won the Media's Choice Award, Comedian of the Year, and Best Solo Show for his first 60-minute show at ZOOFEST, as well as the 2016 ZOOFEST Audience Choice Award for his adult puppet show, LA SAGA DES ÉTOILES (The Star Wars Saga), which parodies the first six installments of the Star Wars saga. He currently hosts the shows PAS PLUS BÊTES QUE NOUS (Season 4) on UNIS TV, CULTIVE TON COMIQUE (Cultivate Your Comedian) on ICI Tou.tv, and QUESTON SUIVANTE (Next Question) on Radio-Canada's @mordu platform. He received 5 nominations at the 2021 Gémeaux Awards gala for the shows PAS PLUS BÊTES QUE NOUS and CULTIVE TON COMIQUE including best host, best show and best script.
Evelyne Roy-Molgat:
Franco-Ontarian comedian Evelyne Roy-Molgat has been performing on stage since the age of 14. At only 23, she already has a wealth of experience, whether as a host at the legendary Bordel Comedy Club, as a stand-up comedian at several festivals, and most recently with her own solo show. She's sure to charm you with her infectious energy and quick wit.
