As part of the ACFA's 100th anniversary celebrations, the City of the Rockies and FrancoMusik Alberta are proud to present the grand premiere of Francophonique on September 18, 2026.

Come and experience an immersive performance celebrating Franco-Albertan history, memory, and identity, where theatre, music, and personal stories intertwine. On stage, three actors and four musicians bring to life the defining moments of our collective journey. Around them, in a minimalist set design, original songs performed live and archival footage projected on a large screen interact: past and present converse, and generations recognize themselves.

Neither a lesson nor nostalgia: a show on a human scale, funny and moving, which feels like a reunion for French speakers and a discovery for everyone else (in French, with English translation on screen). You leave with one certainty, that of Jim Corcoran: "A living language is a sung language."«
