This selection of six dynamic and colorful animated shorts offers children aged six to nine a program full of songs and classics that will make them want to move! It includes the hilarious Le chat colla… de Cordell Barker, un court métrage inspiré d’une chanson folklorique où un vieux monsieur ne réussit pas à se débarrasser d’un vilain petit chat jaune; Mascarade  de Co Hoedeman, qui illustre diverses approches de créativité sur une musique de Normand Roger; Mouches noires  Christopher Hinton, a humorous film based on a popular song by Wade Hemsworth adapted into French by sisters Kate and Anna McGarrigle and performed by Marcel Aymar; Canada vignettes : la valse du maître draveur  John Weldon, who takes us on a frantic dance to the rhythm of a song performed by the McGarrigle sisters; Le merle  Norman McLaren, a paper-cut animation following the amusing rhythm of a folk song performed by the Trio lyrique; and MacPherson  by Martine Chartrand, who captures the song of the same name signed by Félix Leclerc and explores the latter's friendship with Frank Randolph Macpherson, a Jamaican chemical engineer who inspired this song on the log drive.
