L’Alliance Française de Calgary et La Cité des Rocheuses sont fières de présenter MOSAÏCO, une performance chorégraphique puissante d’Audrey Gaussiran. MOSAÏCO est une œuvre multidisciplinaire qui mêle danse, musique et art numérique pour explorer le thème de la construction identitaire.

Interprétée par cinq danseurs issus de divers horizons culturels, la pièce déploie un vocabulaire gestuel mixte et rythmé. Leurs mouvements influencent une projection numérique hautement réactive en arrière-plan : l’apparition, la transformation ou la décomposition d’une mosaïque texturée évolue au gré des gestes des interprètes. La performance est ponctuée de textes poétiques, offrant au public un aperçu de la réflexion profonde qui a nourri le processus chorégraphique.

The Alliance Française of Calgary and La Cité des Rocheuses are proud to present MOSAÏCO, a powerful dance performance by Audrey Gaussiran. MOSAÏCO is a multidisciplinary work that blends dance, music, and digital art to explore the theme of identity construction.

Performed by five dancers from diverse cultural backgrounds, the piece features a mixed and rhythmic gestural vocabulary. Their movements influence a highly reactive digital projection in the background: the appearance, transformation, or decomposition of a textured mosaic changes with the performers’ gestures. The performance is punctuated with poetic texts, providing the audience with insight into the profound reflection that has fueled the choreographic process.
