La Cité des Rocheuses, l’Alliance Française de Calgary et le Consulat de France à Vancouver présentent Le Procès Goldman au Calgary European Film Festival, à voir au cinéma The Globe.

En avril 1976, se tient le second procès de Pierre Goldman. En prison depuis six ans, il est soupçonné d’avoir tué deux pharmaciennes lors d’un vol à main armé en décembre 1969. Alors qu’il a reconnu dès son arrestation en avril 1970 trois braquages sans envergure, commis un peu avant et après Noël 1969, il clame cependant son innocence pour le double meurtre perpétré à la même époque, au cours duquel un jeune gardien de la paix courageux a tenté dans la nuit d’arrêter le coupable en fuite.

In April 1976, the second trial of Pierre Goldman was held. In prison for six years, he is suspected of having killed two pharmacists during an armed robbery in December 1969. While he recognized from his arrest in April 1970 three unimportant robberies, committed a little before and after Christmas 1969, he nevertheless claims his innocence for the double murder perpetrated at the same time, during which a courageous young peacekeeper attempted in the night to arrest the fugitive culprit.
