Somewhere between Tehran and Winnipeg. Negin and Nazgol find a banknote frozen in the ice and search for a way to extract it. Massoud guides a group of bewildered tourists through Winnipeg's increasingly absurd monuments and historical sites. Matthew quits his job with the Quebec government and embarks on a mysterious journey to visit his mother. Their personal identities, the space-time continuum, and the geography of these three stories merge, intertwine, and respond to one another in this surreal comedy of disorientation. Winner of the Audience Award at the Cannes Film Festival's Directors' Fortnight. Among the 15 films in the running for the 2025 Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
