When Elli, a small, homeless ghost, knocks on the door of the eccentric residents of a haunted house in search of a place to stay, she accidentally attracts the attention of the "outside world" and must team up with a motley crew of monsters on a wild quest to save not only all the monsters and all the humans, but also her only chance at finally having a family of her own. Even a ghost needs someone to love! No matter who we are or where we come from, family—whether friends or relatives—is often what shapes our lives and our hearts.
